Terms of use
Version 2026-09-1 · Last updated 15 September 2026
These terms are between you and TO CONFIRM: registered entity name (“we”, “Aura”). Using Aura means you accept them.
What Aura is, and is not
Aura reads a photograph of your face and reports what it measured, on its own scale. It is a wellness tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it does not replace a registered medical practitioner.
- The skin, hair and Aura figures are relative indices, not biological ages and not clinical measurements. They are not comparable to anyone else’s number.
- Aura will not name a condition. Where a pattern belongs with a dermatologist, it says so and stops there.
- Nothing in the app is a prescription. Do not start, stop or change a medicine because of something Aura said.
- If something on your skin is painful, spreading, bleeding or changing quickly, see a doctor. Do not wait for a scan.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
Your photographs and readings remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your portrait, compute your dossier and show it back to you. We do not use your images to train models, and we do not share them with retailers or advertisers.
Fair use
- Scan your own face, not somebody else’s without their knowledge.
- Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the dossier content or the product catalogue.
- Do not attempt to reach another account’s data, or to defeat the rate limits.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.
Products and links
Aura does not sell products. Every product link leaves for a retailer, and some earn us a commission at no extra cost to you — set out in full in the disclosure. We do not accept payment for placement, and commission plays no part in what is recommended. We are not responsible for what a retailer charges, ships or refuses to refund.
Availability
Aura is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.
Liability
To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you take about your health based on the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Account; it takes effect immediately. We may close an account that breaches these terms, or that has been dormant for TO CONFIRM: dormancy period, if any.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at TO CONFIRM: city of jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction.
